Although 2022 began with the whole family getting Covid over the course of six weeks {bummer}, I also started a small project that’s turning out to be a lot of fun: Year of Study. Anyone who does embroidery knows how tremendously slow it is. It can make exploration tricky. So Year of Study is all about giving me the freedom to see what colors and shapes I can create without the pressure of making Art {with a capital A}. Each work is 2” square and is dated {each Friday} and numbered {I come from printmaking and sure love an edition.}
